Two wires or one

I got a question. I want to know if I can run my 36120 on one wire and not 2
per phase for motor. I don't plan to run really hi amps so don't see need for 2.
I don't have a ohm meter to test this. Any one have the knowledge I seek?

Specific gauge wire can only handle so much current. What guage wire are the singles and how much voltage are you going to run? Still 12S?
12 guage wire should be plenty for low current applications.

In my BK 12020, each pair of wires was soldered together at the ESC. I would think it would be OK as long as you insulate the remaining wires (of course) and the current was no more than 100A.

Yeah plan is still the 12s limns. So voltage is going to be in the 40s.
The amp draw shouldn't be a great deal. They look about the size of 9920 wires so not sure 12 or 13 guage. I emailed bk about it and see what they say.
I was planning to make sure others didn't touch nothing.
