1950/7 Motor Mount
 

I am in a bit of a bind and need some help regarding mounting a 1950/7 LMT motor on a LST2. I have waited 4 (yes 4) months to get a 1950/7 motor from bk-electronics that I ordered explicitly with 2 of the 540 can sized clamp type motor mounts. Well, as luck would have it after waiting forever, they messed up the order and only sent 1 mount.

I've already written bk back on their error, but I would actually like to get this truck setup to go before spring arrives and the motor mounts are the last thing I am waiting for to start the build.

Does anyone here know any site (based within the USA that can ship in less than 4 months) that sells clamp type mounts for the 19xx series of motors.

Or if anyone can receommend another method of mounting the motor sideways to mesh with the stock 2-speed tranny I am open to that as well. I just like the motor clamp concept because they will cleanly fit right in the holes were the nitro motor was mounted with minimal work with the Dremel.
