Expert advise for Building Full race E Revo

OK guys here is what i'm getting and some of them i already have
1.Gorillamaxx Carbon fiber Kit
2.Mike's up coming 1/8 diffs and slipperential (hopefully it will be coming soon like next month? Hi Mike!)
3.MGM 24 260 controller and Hacker 11 or 12XL Motor
4.Nomadio React Transmitter
5.Extended wheel base kit (either tekno or Traxxas)
6.Cvds for sale here
7.two packs of max amps 8000mah 11.1 v 3 cell lipo
8.proline 1/8 scale wing and tekno wing kit
as for the ultimate wheels/tires and what adaptor do i need like 23mm dace?
any help and suggestions are really very much appreciated

what is the best servo to get regardless of the price? Is thet airtronics selling here is enough or the other hitectitanium servo for $115? thanks

Loose the hacker motor, it's a 2pole without segmented magnets. Since you are using the MGM, get a Neu instead.. more motor for a good price.

luvsrc 01.12.2007 02:34 PM

segmented segments? what neu motor to get for a 6 cell lipo? thanks for your reply serum. what is the advantage vs the hacker motor besides the semented part, is it a 5mm shaft as well?

Procharged5.0 01.12.2007 03:33 PM

I'll start and let Serum finish......

the NEU offers 4-pole vs 2-pole for increased torque. The NEU is also built better (IMO), runs cooler, is more efficient, has better magnets, and arguably better customer service.

Go with the knuckles, 8mm axle kit, and 23mm hubs from RD Racing. Its the best setup money can buy. You just can't use CVD's, which i prefer sliders anyway...

The knuckles are fair priced IMO, has anyone got any more info on them? are they CNC machined from one piece or molded?

squeeforever 01.12.2007 06:50 PM

Cnc.

Thanks for the advice Squee, does rc-monster carry all of those ? if not can you provide me a link to buy them? thanks again

squeeforever 01.13.2007 12:57 AM

I don't think Mike can get them...Here ya go.

Serum 01.13.2007 03:51 AM

Mike can get you anything in RC land, these knuckles won't be an exclusion i guess.

Those 8mm axles do look nice. I wonder if RD Racing would sell everything in their kit besides the 23mm adapters (I run 17mm). That should lower the price a bit, and I don't have any intention of running 23mm hexes.

I was wondering the same thing because i would kinda rather run Dace adapters, probably from a CRT.

luvsrc 01.13.2007 01:53 PM

17MM AND 23MM adapters, sorry i'm kinda lost ,is it length wise? or the diameter size, i would like to run truggy specific tire/wheel combo, is 17mm better than 23mm, sorry i'm new to revo truck
