Brushless Savage Questions???

My first brushless Savage Project...

I've strengthened the diff's, cups and I've orded the heavy duty 2nd gear.
Now I'm getting ready to buy the electronics.
I've decided on the 9xl for better gearing options and runtime.

What is considered to tall of gearing for speed?

I'm using crime fighters on dish wheels.
I havn't weighed the truck but I am going for light weight.

I want to run the A123 cells 6s.
What ESC has a compatable voltage cutoff (2v per cell)?
Or should I wait for the Monster Maxx?

Does Mike have a Motor mount for the savage?

Thanks for the help.

Hi!

Mike can get you a motormount for your savage. that's not a problem.

The A123 cells should be run in 2P, otherwise they are too weak, they drop too quick in voltage. About your overgearing question; Get a tempgun (they are fair cheap) and measure the voltage of the packs/motor/speedo.

Hi Serum,

I have a question about that note, i am so confused.

for a example, 47T/14T gear get HOT and 52T/10T get cool,
Which one is overgearing?
and Which one i's undergeared?

Thank you.

So does that mean that I need to run 3 4600 2s2p packs together to get the power I need.
