I bought the xl-5 pede back in September and have obsessed with upgrading ever since! Just about think I'm done. Well maybe some of those new FastLane CVD's and then I'll be through!! Some pics here

Awesome man!

Welcome to the forum, your truck looks great. Nice shell/wheel combo.

How much does it weight RTR?

you know maxx wheels with Komodo tires are an option too? it's like a 40 series wheel for a maxx/savage.

Welcome!!! Lookin sharp man! Very sharp! Love the paint!

crazyjr 01.11.2007 02:29 AM

Very nice, what mamba are you running?

hyperasus 01.11.2007 02:44 AM

Looks good. Is that the 4600 or 5700 MM? How hot is the ECS and motor getting? What batteries you running? LOL ok i'll stop. One thing though. I'd flip that motor around. Those motor wires are just begging to be ripped off. Flip the motor so the wires are pointing up top where they are safe.

Nway2deep 01.11.2007 09:29 AM

wires

It is the 5700 mamba
I am still messing around with the proper position for the esc
the wire on the motor are so long it is hard to route them through the tower

Mike.L 01.11.2007 09:34 AM

ya, i notice that if you wheelied then you would butcher up those wires good. i would shorten the wires by less then an inch...

looks nice.

Nway2deep 01.11.2007 09:37 AM

I was under the impression it is a no no to cut the wires i
on the mamba also does rc monster carry the new cvd's from fastlane?

crazyjr 01.12.2007 08:39 PM

Not on the mamba, they even suggest that you cut to size in the manual

coolhandcountry 01.12.2007 08:54 PM

That is nice. Well done. You like that truck?

crazyjr 01.12.2007 11:02 PM

My stampede is similar to yours but i'm getting a 4600 for it

bigconig 01.13.2007 03:22 PM

That's a real beauty. I've been toying with the idea of doing an FLM pede to add to my rusty. Is that the long bed pro-line body? Also, is it the extended chassis?

Thanks, BC

Nway2deep 01.14.2007 01:11 AM

pede

yes it is the long bed body and it is the extended widened chassis

bigconig 01.14.2007 11:12 AM

Thanks bro. Again, nice work
