c'mon guys, this is a store owned forum. I personally respect not having a bst.

supermaxx4190 05.01.2005 12:39 AM

look at UE. they are a store owned forum and they have a bst

In fact, for used items it is a good thing to have such a forum, it is rather hard to maintain a forum like that though (timeconsuming when the site is getting larger and larger ( and it IS getting larger and larger ) threads need to be removed when the item is sold, but, you can also sell items on ebay. (i agree it is nice to 'know' the source your buying from) it just doesnt needs to be abused by selling things with commercial intentions.

In Holland, we have got forum like that too, and it is sometimes really funny to read the discussions going on about prices here (but that's just tipicall Dutch behavior i think... ;) )

I am neutral on this one.

But UE is a big company.

they ain't really a retailer either (well they are, but they are a manufacturer as well).

I'm sure mike has already thought of this and there is a reason why he does not want to have a bst. I'm pretty sure it's b/c he is a store, a bst will only draw business away.
