tanic packs double power wires ??
I just ordered one of these packs primarily for a "hotliner" glider I have that draws around 100 amps on full throttle but it'll probably find it's way into something with wheels occasionally as well ;)
Notice that it has 2 positive and 2 negative power wires ?? Thoughts ?? I mean I like the concept but the heaviest ga wire in any of my systems is 12 ga I think...maybe some 10 ga somewhere :024: Should I double up all my wires at the esc on the battery and motor side to take advantage of this larger ampacity ??? Maybe find some 4ga wire ??? :020: http://www.tanicpacks.com/catalog/im...3S-3.31.06.gif pinolelst |
Those packs are rated at 250amps peak draw. I have a feeling a single Deans connector can't take that. You don't necessary have to match that, but if you plan on pulling 250amps, it wouldn't hurt.

It uses two poles of the deans Travis.

Yeah, I know. What I meant is that they probably use two plugs because a single one wouldn't be able to handle the current that battery can put out.
