Calculator
I thought I would post a link to a little calculator program I downloaded for a PC that didn't have the normal windows calculator for some reason.
It's kinda neat cause it has a conversion function built in as well as a basic calculator. Handy toy for doing the standard-metric conversions... http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Ca...-10628440.html |
BTW, when converting to ounces, you want the "avoirdupois" one... not the "troy" :)
|
looks good.

Geeks like me just use their HP48GX calculators for conversions like that :)

I had a hp48gx passed down to me but never really liked it. I sure do love my TI-89 though
|
Well, that may be because the HP uses RPN entry along with a stack. I know that once you get used to it, you never go back. But that may be the geek in me. :)
By the way, my web calculator thingy has a page for a few of the common unit conversions. |
TI89 Titanium for me. Expensive ($150), but it sure beats the TI-83 Plus for AP Calculus :).

Man what kind of can-o-worms did I open up here? :)
