1/8 scale buggy and a mamba max

I was wondering if I could run a Mamba Max in a 1/8 scale buggy (XTM Xterminator Deluxe) or if it has enough power to run it? I would probably run the 4600 or 5700 on 8-10 cells or 2-3s lipo. If I can't run it, are there any other suggestions for a system that wont put me back over 300 dollars?

Thanks

i dont think so... i think once geared correctly it would be slow or u couldnt gear it right...so it would over heat

now a mm and a fieago xl motor would be good ;)

The mamba max motor + esc will not power a 1/8 scale buggy. The motor will overheat. However, the MM ESC + 10L works great.

Agree with the other boys. The ESC should be fine when you use a suitable motor.

(actually, a big motor (such as a 7XL on 4S) on "mild" ESC settings should be less stress on the ESC than Castle's 7700 motor on 2S and hard settings)

And no, I really don't see the small CC motors in an 8th scale application either.
