Ubec with foam and tape around it. That is what that is dom.

Sylvester 02.05.2007 09:22 AM

Oh ok. Why did you wrap it up with foam/tape? What receiver box is that ; looks heavy duty ;)

coolhandcountry 02.05.2007 10:03 AM

That is an integy tmaxx box. It is aluminum and not to heavy. The truck is in the 8lb range with batts on it.

coolhandcountry 11.06.2009 03:02 PM

Update.

The truck is still running strong.
It is now old reliable.
I just come in from a 6s run on some LIMNs.
It still is a great driving truck.

shaunjohnson 11.06.2009 05:35 PM

ive looked everywhere...
where did you get that tranny replacment?
ive been wanting to get hold of one for AGES but cant find one anywhere.
great video:mdr::yipi:

coolhandcountry 11.06.2009 05:51 PM

I got that from Mike.

It has some age on it and was an early version.
I love the reliblity of this truck.
It just keeps running and running.

suicideneil 11.06.2009 09:03 PM

Same motor? Any bearing replacements needed, or just the usual drop of oil every now and then? Do like the old school stuff- that slipperential tranny is like Concorde in a way, if you think about it...

coolhandcountry 11.07.2009 08:55 AM

Exact same motor. I haven't replaced anything on this truck.
I noticed my shafts are getting a little play in them now.
I feel like I want something else to bash around though.

suicideneil 11.07.2009 10:20 AM

Muggy or LST2 conversions are nice bashers from the looks of it, though I like the idea of a slash 4x4 with some wider A-arms = 1/10 truggy basher.
