jollyjumper 02.14.2007 09:59 AM

I like the pic that shows around 30 motors on the table.. i wish i worked there! :)

jollyjumper 02.14.2007 10:03 AM

hehe, i'd like to get a nue 15 series someday.

glassdoctor 02.14.2007 10:32 AM

Wow... that coke can size motor is cool. What it needs is an HPI Baja 5B.....

Sylvester 02.14.2007 10:33 AM

Yea.. just like the 2250! I wonder what the lehner 3080 compares to... hmm:)

well here's a 3060, look at the size, 60mm thick and 100mm long.

Sylvester 02.14.2007 10:47 AM

I love how that motor looks.. i think that would be crazy with 12s lipo in a BAJA 5B.

jollyjumper 02.14.2007 10:49 AM

you'd need a 12mm thick motor mount.:D

Sylvester 02.14.2007 10:54 AM

No problem! The real challenge would be the pinion! 12mm pinions! ;)

jollyjumper 02.14.2007 11:00 AM

i tought it was 10mm shaft?
also the pitch of a 1/5th gears would be difficult to obtain.

Sylvester 02.14.2007 11:01 AM

Sorry, i didnt check the shaft dia. so i didnt really know, just guessed, but even so, 10mm is BIG!

jollyjumper 02.14.2007 11:03 AM

that is one thick shaft;)

Sylvester 02.14.2007 11:05 AM

Twice as thick as the 1950... Just to throw this out there, the lehners have a HARD shaft, when i was on the mill making a flat spot on the shaft it was really giving it problems! I cant imagine how hard it would be on the 3060/80!
