Dogbone measurement

Just found out that my rear FLM dogbone will need serious dremelling to work with my HB cup coz its too thick and long so I will need a spare one just in case.

How do you measure a dogbone? Is it really end to end or is it between pins?

It is end to end.

that was a quick answer :)
that ,meams that standard G-maxx 100mm one will be too short as the original is about 115mm and i will need lets say 105mm long one

About 105. Mike can get you any length dogbone you need!

thanks to much longer diff pinions I need also a new front dogbone as the MIP front pushes the drivecup/pinion too much back that it would strip the diff gears.
Let this be warning for FLM chassis with FLM hybrids users that 110mm rear and 70mm front dogbones are also needed because the 1/8 diff pinions are bit longer that the stockers.

Found a temporary solution ->raise the transmition about 6 mm up (cannot be more as the rear dogbone would touch the chassis thanks to increased angle) and it works nicely

Glad you got it working!

actually the dogbones I got from Mike have measures betweem pins and not end to end so they are long
