Promod uses a centerdiff on his TF too, he is raving about it.

Should be awesome Jolly.

also, now i should be able to get nice speed ( but not speeds like promod)
without revving over 40k rpm.

i hope i can get it machined soon enough.
dafni, would you be interested to coloborate with me on this project?
took the stock steering of, would not work with the diff.
because the servo saver is attached to the tranny plate.
dafni, i saw you had the losi claws on your twin, how big are they and how do they handle?
thanks

a little enlighting:
tell me wath you guys think of it.

Dafni 02.17.2007 02:08 PM

LST tires are big. Nice for crawling and hard jumping (easy to pull flips) but pretty much useless for any fast runs.

Your Centerdiff mounts look alright. Doing a colaboration together depends on your time range, I'm rather busy at the moment.
But since I want to do something to my TF anyway, I'll defintely think about it.

jollyjumper 02.17.2007 02:09 PM

ok, ill try and go for it alone if you are to busy because i want to run this thing.

Dafni 02.17.2007 02:13 PM

Okay. Nevermind. I'll make sure to let you guys know when I did something new to my TF. At the moment it's just too many projects for other guys, and when I find time for my own stuff, the TF takes a back seat. But this will change! I love the TF.

jollyjumper 02.17.2007 02:14 PM

okay, i understand.
for promod:
can you post some photos of your steering on the TF?
thanks, mike.

wonder what this is for?
just playing with ideas, wich would be best, up/down motor mount or sideways?
i guess sideways cuz the motor wont go down in mesh to tight?

Here is a picture of the steering. Camera is not the best.

Thank you,
Promod
