Cool... you know how many times I have almost bought a wireless camera to do that? :030:

I've been thinking about getting some race footage like that.

Can you mount the camera on the rear, like on the wing? That's what I was going to do if I ever get one.

This actually is a self-contained video camera, no wireless needed. This is the one I've got:

You can probably find a better price on it out there. I got mine from woot.com for $29 I think. I don't think I'd reccomend it, as the framerates are really pretty bad.

Yep, I did mount it on the side of the wing. It's designed to be mounted on the side of a helmet, it has a big rubber stretchy band to secure it to a helmet. I just pulled the strap tighter and I was good to go. I'll have to try again with it pointed a bit higher so there's more picture and less wheel.

That was kinda good considering how cheap the camera is, that buggy definately zips along alright. Strap one of those to a truck and do some back flips- that would make a great video, unless you landed on your lid and then it would be bye bye camera..... maybe not then. Nice work Sleeb.

LOL great stuff. Now I want one to mount on my pede and go ramp the **** out of it. Good thing it uses a memory card so I can still get the footage even after the cam is broke LOL.

I found a better cam (more expensive, of course) called the ATC2000. It's made by Oregon scientific, but the main drawback is that its $100. It does have WAY better video quality, much clearer and the frame rates are considerably better than the 4 FPS i'm getting with the tony hawk helmet cam.
