Its powered by a mamba 4600 on a maxamps 4s 4Ah lipo. I use a futaba s3305 to steer, and a 3PM FM and novak xxl to control it. It also has jato arms all the way around, jato rear hub carriers, front aluminum stub axles, and c hubs, duratrax evader bx graphite steering knuckles, and maxx driveshafts. As for aluminum, it has an FLM trans case, bulkhead, front bumper, and shock towers. The trans has been mounted backwards on the stock chassis to move some weight forward to control wheelies, and to lengthen the wheelbase by about an inch. Combined with the backwards mounted front jato arms and the rear jato arms, the truck is about 2 inches longer than stock, using the stock chassis. The trans has an RC monster steel idler gear, an RC monster steel/ aluminum differential, an XL5 slipper, and drilled out 12mm hexes to fit the jato wheels on the 6mm maxx axles. I use a Proline desert rat meant for an Emaxx, and Jato 2.5 wheels with anaconda tires.

that rustler looks awesome! I have a question though, do the jato parts fit w/o any mods?

Any pictures on the inside? You used joto parts right, so i assumed you ut the jato tranny in because the motor shure isnt in the rear.?.?

Thanks. The jato arms fit w/o any major mods, just some dremeling to make them fit over the longer hinge pin areas on the rustler bulkheads. I was lucky with the evader steering knuckles, the long steering arms of the jato ones was hurting my turning radius, and the evader parts were a direct fit with a shorter steering arm. Getting the maxx axles to fit over the jato arms was the biggest problem, I had to expand the "driveshaft tunnel" area of the a arm with a dremel to clear the bigger diameter axles. Then the jato hub carriers needed weird bearing sizes to hold the 6mm maxx axles, its a good thing boca has 6x11s and 6x15s.

Yea, no jato transmission. The flipped trans caused a major flex problem in the rear of the chassis, both from moving the trans mounting surface back, and from dremeling out some of the thick/ stiff part of the chassis. My solution to this (which Im not exactly proud of, and is the reason theres no body off pics) was to run zipties from the front shock tower to the rear. It solves the flex problem well, and gives me an easy way to run wiring cleanly, but it doesnt look good.

Why buggy wheels? Because of my Emaxx? But no, it wont be getting 1/8 buggy wheels. Im going to be using this mostly on pavement and as it is the 2.8" anacondas have too little traction, so Im definitly not going to a narrower tire. I have some 2.2 road hawgs Im going to try, but I doubt theyll help much. I plan to order some panther maxx sized slicks pretty soon, since I cant find maxx sized foams anywhere.

I forgot, but why do you need those zipties again? whats not being supported? you might be able to solve the problem buy getting the flm chassis.

imex has foam tires.

Why did you decide to tunr the tranny case in the 1st place? It is a very neat idea. Was a lot of dremeling required to make it fit?
