new possibilities!!

hey well i decided to just go ahead and buy a e-ready-revo on ebay instead of wastiing alot of my time making a non clean one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...3063&rd=1&rd=1
there it is. seems pretty sweet to me in pics.

didnt realize it didnt come with an evx so i guess i cant run it for a while.. i knew it came with no electronics but i had those to throw in it. how would it would if i put an evx in there? ill be using probably 6s with it.. would that woork? dont think it would work with the evx but lmk!! i can run it at 12 cells but would rather not cause itd probably be less power

what can i expect with those motors?

4s=40mph maybe?
12cell= 35 maybe?

idk what it would be like so lmk what you guys think i should do for now!!

thanks!

The most I've ever heard being used is 14 cells at 16.8v's on the EVX. So I'd say 4S is the limit. Don't have any first hand experience with the duel 700's but from what I read is you don't really gain much speed just a lot of torque. Unless you really gear them up but then you gotta watch the temps. I do have a pair of 970's with a custom mount for the EMaxx that came with my Revo but never did anything with them. There very heavy and take duel EVX's to run em. PS. so there is no confusion, the 700's will run on 1 EVX.

FYI, you could run a Mamba Max ESC with the dual motors :).

would it be a good setup? dual 700s mm and either 12 cells or 6s? would it be able to stand the 6s (the 700 motors)

jnev 02.27.2007 12:09 AM

I think 12 cells will be alright, but not 6s.

t-maxxracer32 02.27.2007 12:19 AM

i didnt think 6s would work. how fast would 12cells be?
