68 mph rustler!!
 

hey I've been messing around with a new rustler and have the following
mamba max esc
feigao 8s
3s lipo 6k maxamps
rustler geared 28/86 (just for speed runs)
today made a best run of 68.2 mph.. previous best was 64.7mph.. today was tightening the slipped alittle and ran with a body on the truck .. I think the body helps with wind resistance.. now I need more room to run..

Thats awesome getting those speeds. How does the rustler handle those kinds of speed... is it fairly stable?

BTW - What other parts do you have on it, or is it stock?

its fairly stable but no turning.. all stock other than brushless and radio..

Damn, that's fast! My Rustler has yet to top 60mph... Right not it can't even be run.

My MT2 ran something like 55.7mph with the body off and ~53mph with the body on. Have you tried it with the body off?

What system are you running in the mt2?

Feigao 8L + 4s2p A123 (13.2v 4600mah). Gearing was 20/49.

Thats insane!

I think mine is faster with the body on.. thats just me though..

Need aero body, get er over 70!

I'm running Road Rage and/or HPI Geolanders on my Rustler and ballooning like crazy at 61 mph.Handleing is out of the question and the slightest ripple on the roadway and I'm airbourne.What tires are you running for those kind of mph's?

man and I thought mine was fast

I'm running stock xl5 tires.. they balloon like crazy..
