How much heat from a UBEC?

Just wondering if you guys think I will have a problem running a ubec inside of a closed plastic case? With just the shrink wrap on it, when I feel it after a run its just barely warm to the touch. So Im thinking that if its not getting hot now, putting it inside a closed case shouldnt be an issue.

I'm thinking it will be ok, but looking for some opinions. How much cooling/airflow does one of these need?

You should have no problems at all. They are quite efficient so the heat is minimal. Will this be a sealed case? Because you could drill a few cooling holes in it.

Sealed case. To keep water out for winter bashing :)

You should still be OK...

Yeah, you shouldn't have any problems at all. Let's say your servo draws 2amps continuously (on average). If the UBEC is 85% efficient and you're using 15v input and 6v output, that's only 2.7watts of heat it's putting out.
