BL motor in revo
 

I was wondering if a lehner 3100xl would better than a 9L in a bl revo ?. i would most likley run 12 cells in the revo. Thanks

I guess if you run 12 cells the 9L would not be the best choice out of the feigaos anyway.

Daf the reson im asking is i figure my gmaxx and the bl revo should weigh about the same. My gmaxx with the 3100xl on 12 cells is noticebly faster than my racebomb with the 9L on 14 cells.

What's your gearing for the 9L on 14 cells?

The 9L on 14 cells could be geared to beat the 3100 on 12 cells for the simple reason that there is more power available(2 extra cells). The xl3100 is a faster motor, though. The xl2800 on 14 cells would be a sweet setup in a revo.

how about 10xl with 18 cells lol that would be sweet

or the 14 cells are of lower quality than the 12 on the XL3100 or the 14 cell is faster in acceleration.

My bigmaxximum powered savage was slower on 14 sanyo 3300's than a 10L powered savage on 14 GP3300's.. (in both acceleration and topspeed)
