Revo shock springs

Hi guys,Ijust finished assemblying my G2r revo(Pics to come with lots of upgrades),It will be weighing around 12lbs.I'm concerned about the stock springs ,seems to be soft for the weight, might bottom down on the jumps, what is a good starting point for shock springs on the front and rear,Is it advisable to get one packege set of all the different springs? Thanks

Ive always used the blue dotted springs with great success!

The blue ones are rated at 5.9, and the highest is rated at 6.4, which is purple. there is nothing in between them.

Yellow 2.6
White 2.9
orange 3.2
green 3.5
gold 3.8
brown/tan 4.1
black 4.4
silver 4.9
blue 5.9
purple 6.4

I used them in front/rear with a bit of pre-load on them with 14 cells.. they were a good jumping spring and not bad in the rough and bumpy stuff.

I use purple in the back and blue in the front. I never liked how the Revo would bottom out relatively easy. Not to mention that if you bottom out one of the shocks (landing from a jump on one wheel), you can bend the shaft easily. I know this is pretty stiff, but I also don't use a lot of preload either. I still get about 20% sag, as opposed to the recommended 33% sag.

well if you want super strong springs, but its kinda ghetto, find some valve springs from a car that fit on there.

I used the optional LT springs on P1 rockers and it was fine for me

I agree w/ CrazyJR... LT springs, but I'm using them on the P2 rockers.

Blue in back, silver in front.

Not much preload required to let the driveshafts run parallel to the ground.

Mines not quite 12 lbs though, more like 11 lbs. You can probably get away with stiffer springs if you want to at 12 lbs. but the LT springs are free if you got your kit new. It comes with them and it should be a good starting point.
