Best motor for 5s RC18 speed project?
 

Well the time has come to try some highend motors for a speed project I'm working on I have been over 80mph with the Mamba 6800 and a 4s 2100hv Maxamps pack FYI the curent record is 76mph set at last years WFRCCC held by Radio control car action magazine.

I'm looking for a 200-300 watt class motor to run with a Maxamps 5s 18.5v 1550hv pack and a Quark 33amp ESC.

I see Neu makes a 1105 series motor in 4000 and 5200kv with a 2.3mm shaft that looks like a good choice anything else that may work? My goal is 90+mph at this years contest. :032:

You can check out the LMT 10 series. These are of the highest quality. Pretty pricy, though.

Pretty nice rigs you got there, BTW.

If you were to true those foams down so theres almost no foam on it youd go a bit quicker
