center CVD slack?

like title says, what's the maximum amount of slack that should be present in the shaft (axial slack) in the drive cups.

Thanks

about 4-5mm depending on the design of the cup.

If its a dogbone in the center, get some small associated springs that normally install on the 18T to press the dogbones into the stub axles, but put these on both sides. It will hold the dogbone in center while allowing it some room to move if it needs to.

Its what I've done on my G2R and it works great.

I have the same "problem" - Can you tell more precise what springes it is ? I have been looking at Towerhobbies, and there is a lot of springs for the 18T.

Thanks :-)

Great, thanks.

BPRevo, that's a great idea! Does it make it any quieter too? It seems to me that would stop it from rattling back and forth. Would the spring help for wear, have you noticed?
