D-Box Drift Assist

Hey all. I just installed a D-box Drift Assist unit on my Maxx...talk about a blast to drive on loose dirt. It handles like a buggy!

Just curious if anyone else has tried doing this.

I've really been wanting to get one. Only thing is it can't be used in racing. :frown:

Yeah, I've got one.. But no drift assist.. just the same module for 1/8th of the price.. The GWS 03 is the very same article.. Worth a try IMO.. it's fun, and for the high speed trucks it's quite handy for stabilizing the truck..

Actually just got one to try out. I was going t put it a parking lot racer I use for pylon racing on black top. Havent had a chance to get it out yet though. Looks like a cool device.

Serum... Got a link to the device you are talking about. Id be interested to see it.

EDIT:I actually just found it. It appears to be deisgned for heli applications. Does it work the same as the D-Box in a truck or car?

I am not sure if the heli version will work or not. Some have already replied that it does work... It seems like it should, but if I were to guess there are subtle differences in the firmware. I notice a big difference when I punch it off the line and during high speed driving in the straights...as noted earlier it does definitely help stabilize the truck.

Like i said; it's the same thing.
