Ideal situation
Ok, what would be the best ESC/Motor combo out there that could run on 4 maybe 5s lipo. My budget is around $500 I was thinking about a Quark 125B and a Lehner Basic XL 2400. would this be good? would it give me equivelint (sp?) power to the Fine Designs LST2?it is going in an E-maxx btw. thanks

No, that's not the setup i would advice you.
take a Neu 1512 as a motor, and aim for 30-35000 rpm. |
still using the quark 125B ESC? thanks for the quick reply
|
Yeah, that's about the only controller with decent service that works with the Neu motors.
The XL2400; i've got that motor too, it's strong, but not as strong as a Neu 1512, and the Neu uses segmented magnest, which makes it better suited for partial loads (which is about 95 percent of running RC cars) |
thanks but what is the difference bettween the D and Y?
|
That's a Delta and Wye wind.
Here, this explains what the differences are; http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...ight=delta+wye |
thanks I think I am done with questions for a while LOL

Also, please don't get hung up on FD's specs on his site. They are often misleading and in some cases completely incorrect. |
The only reason I have been comparing all of my selections to FD's stuff (browse my other posts, notice a pattern?) is my friend has their truck. he says the truck couldn't be better but he wishes he never bought it from them. I have driven his truck and I want a system that can put out that kind of power. it is insane
