MIP 2.5 CVD's, do they work with Revo?
Like the title says, do they?
Also, I am also wondering what all you need for a rolling Revo chassis? -Revo front & rear assemblies (that Mike sells) -revo 3.3 stock chassis Now what i want to know is: -Do the 2.5 MIP cvd's work with this? -Do the RC-Monster extended center cvd's work? Or what WILL work for centers? -Does the GMaxx single speed bolt onto this? Let me know what someone would need to make a complete rolling chassis? Thanks |
-No. they use different size of bearings and are of different length.
-no, they require a special size dogbones, depending on where you put the gearbox. -and yes, a singlespeed is an option. currently working on a revo with stock chassis, thats using it. (will finish her this weekend i think) |
well then i'm scrapping that idea then! :030:
Thanks anyway Serum! |
No need for cvd's with the stock shafts..
|
Well, it's just that i already bought them, NEVER been used, and they are, well, hmmm, so SHINY! :027:
What shafts would you use for the center, the sliders? It looks i can make a whole another vehicle (revo) for the same price I can FINISH my maxx project. What i have now: extended center CVD's GMaxx skids integy alum bulks a couple diffs You don't know anyone who would want to buy them by any chance? Mike prob wouldn't buy them BACK from me? I bought them from him. I can't take this any longer, I just want a good solid truck, whatever it is! :o |
If you want a solid truck, wait for my maxx to finish. I've got some nice tricks in my sleeve for her to beef it up..
With a bit of luck i can start building it rather soon.. |
What do you mean wait for your maxx to finish?
SO what all would I need to purchase to get a Revo running? I have all the electronics, as you probably already know. |

Building a tough basher maxx from fair cheap parts.. (IMO) |
Okay cool, can't wait to see it then.
I just did the math, and it will be $50 more (from the parts that i think i would need) to make myself a Revo, than it would to buy the rest of the parts for my maxx. Again, excited to see what you've got! :024: :027: |
