My idea for a brushless LSP

I have a spare LSP Pro-R and plan to convert to brushless. I have talked my plan over with coolhand_country and he thinks it would be a cool setup. My plan it for using what i have available thats just sitting, I have ordered the LSP motorplate, kyosho gear for the center diff and i'll think of something for the battery box. Here's what i have for it already; LSP pro-r, 9920 BK Warrior esc, MGM 16024 esc, 12XL wanderer motor and 2 and 3s lipo's. With the 12 XL I plan to run 6s lipo's because of the lower kv of the motor (6s should put it around 30,000rpms at 1390kv), gearing it at 15/46 should put it around 37MPH (BrianG's calculator). Will this be a good setup? Which esc would you go with? the 9920 or the mgm 16024?
thanks for you're opinions

i'd probably use the MGM,the 9920 is at it's limit on 6s,although it's not a hot setup so it may well be fine. Were you going to use mechanical brakes? i think it would be a good idea, there was some concern about using motor brakes with the 24160,something to do with the caps used having a higher internal reistance, allowing voltage spikes to the fets under braking(or something),it was GriffinRU's theory, went over my head.http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5820

Actually, I was planning to use the motor because the LSP motor plate eliminates the rear brakes

The 9920 I think would hold up nicely for the lack of amp draw it will see.
The mgm should do good as well.

I wouldn't use the 9920, personally. I fried a 9920 and a 7020 on 6S in less than 45 seconds...

I was actually hoping the higher turn lower kv motor would help in preventing the massive spikes
