big cheap lipos he says....but good?

big cheap lipos he says. these are supposed to be very good quality cells (Enerland cells). he has suggested a custom built 5s2p 8000mah lipo pack for my bl revo running a mamba maxx/8xl combo. its only gonna run me about $160ish total

i have met the fella and have delt with him before along with many others and he seems to know his electronics. i think i am gonna go with a setup from him and get back to ya'll. what are your opinions? Yay or Nay?

5S2P 8Ah on a Revo? Where are you going to put it? It is one brick of a battery going at around 2lbs. I guess maybe you're going one 2S and one 3S.

Has he told you what cells he'll be using? All I saw when I followed the links was a bunch of 10C polyrc packs.

Let us know how it turns out. I'm always interested in an economy lipo pack that works well.

the cells are enerland and yea he says one pair of 2s and one pair of 3s would be best. the sheer size will likely pose the biggest problem. i would like to see if i can make a custom chassis out of aluminum but right now i will settle for baby steps. ive seen a 18.5 volt revo, talk about one huge hunk of a battery, but his one off chassis made possible.

I went by the website, and all I see are 10C packs sold in pairs. I don't see any 4S2P packs on the site, which is what I'm looking for. Am I missing something, or did you have to make some sort of arrangements with him for you pack.

I don't know an enerland 4000 cell.

I've never heard of enerland 4Ah cells either, but I suppose that doesn't mean that they don't exist. I'm just wondering if these are really old stock or something. Does enerland even make 10C cells any longer?
