18T turnbucle/tie rod question
I've got some titamium turnbucle/tie rods that I bought for my 18T. The plastic end cups that are on them are horrible and keep breaking. I've tried looking at my lhs and on ebay for some kind of replacement pieces. Maybe something from another 18th scale mini? Anyone have any suggesstions?
Thanks. |
How about using RPM ends? or the mini-t ends? they where pretty tough on my T.

You may end up buying the Lundsford 4-40 turnbuckle kit for the 18T. They are much more robust than the AE Factory ti turnbuckles. I have both and you are right...the Factory turnbuckle cups break all the time. The Lundsford cups are larger and beefier because they fit on a 4-40 threaded turnbuckle. |
I used the ends from the 3racing turnbuckles. The turnbuckles weren't very good, but the ends were very tough.
