23mm adapters

What is the difference between the Jammin X1 CRT and the Revo as far as the out drive shaft dia and drive pins. I'm sure some one here must have both trucks. The reason I'm asking is I would like to use these 23mm adapters. I like that the pin is captured by the o-ring.

jammin adapters go on the axle.

revo and other MT adapters mount on the 14mm hex

Right but I rather not have the plastic 14mm hex under the 23mm.

I was looking into those too. The only thing is they are twice as much and

Which are another $100.

Yeah, you do need the knuckles with these.

If you want to use a 23 mm adaptor go dace, they are the best. The prolines for the revo don't use the 14mm hex, but they are rather weak and use an odd key.

I use prolines, at about half price. If you shim them right and use locktite they are good

I have got the bad experience with the proline that the pin will eat its way in the aluminum

I have the Prolines and the material is soft. One of them wasn't cut right it was .025" undersized. I had to remove all the anodizing plus material so make that one fit. I think it just got setup wrong and someone wasn't checking them. Still I'm not happy with them.
