Brushless LSP questions

I am in the process of doing a brushless LAP and need some opinions on placement of things. I know there are a lot of threads on this subject, But i just wanted a few opinions and suggestions from those who have done it and their reasoning for it. I have a quark already and 1515/2.5d coming for a G2R project, but could go in here if i feel like it (i also got a 9XL that may be in it as well). Most of my questions are mainly about the batteries. Which is prefered, split packs or single? And, it looks easier to do all electronics on one side and the battery on the other, but, Will weight distribution be right that way? I am sorry for these questions, But this is my first conversion without a conversion chassis. I have a G2R gorilla revo
thank you and sorry for my bad typing

Personaly i like One pack than splitted pack, less mess with wires less chance for mistake (Like one guy here connected UBEC to one of the splitted battery, made closed circuit), much easier change battery and charge battery.
Small differents in weight not affect to handling much. But if you hunt perfect handling you need pay attention to weight and wight ballance

I'm not overly worried about weight distribution but i don't want it to corkscrew off a jump;)
