4s & buggy ?
As some of you guys know my MBX5 & two 2s2p setup took up to much room. What size 4s pack is the most popular to use in a single pack setup for my buggy ?.
|
Flightpower 4350 or 5000's..!
|
I and others have had good results with maxamps 5000 HV's.
|
They don't beat enerland cells.
|
Thank's guys i was mainly looking for MAH size that would support the motor & esc. I know enerland's are considerted the GOLD standerd. I will be using maxxamp packs in my ERT convertion i have.

Yeah, another reason to buy the enerlands.. :p
|
Still trying to iron out the "perfect setup" in my buggy, but will likely get some flightpowers once I do. Just gotta decide on the capacity/weight I want. I may even try the 3700's if it gives enough run time with my new Lehner 1930.

I agree, with Enerland bases packs, in the long run, they might end up being cheaper... but who knows.
If saving cash is a persons concern, then A123 batts is number one for bang for buck, and cost over lifetime, at least 10:1 compared to lipo. Hands down. |
I would be interested only in packs i could charge of my hyperion eq5idp charger. Because i cant afford to but another charger & balancer.
|
does anyone have experiance comparing the cycle life of kokam cells to enerland cells?
also apart from flightpower who else makes enerland packs? |
polyquest, hyperion.. And some others as well IIRC.
No, can't help you with the endurance test; it's just that the enerland packs do the work with ease, so they are not stressed or getting hot. |

Rene thats the reason i went with the 8000's sinice they are not considerd as good as the enerland cells, plus i got them at cost LOL :005: . |
The most popular pack is probably the maxamps 5k packs, but I do have to say that the "better" packs are well worth the money. I have not yet had to opportunity to try the flightpowers, but I do have a couple of Kokam packs. Yes they were expensive, but worth every penny.
No matter how hard I run them, they never need more than a couple of seconds of balancing and when I charge them on my thunderpower 1010C, the charger tells me that there is 0.00v imbalance. The packs also have a very good punch. |
