Can you use a brushed motor with the Mamba Max ESC?

Yes you can you just have to remove one of the wires.

And set the ESC to brushed mode...

Actually, there are two brushed modes:

1: With Reverse. Use the black and red for the motor. The white isn't used.

2: High Current. Use all three motor wires toed together to the - terminal of the motor. Hook the + of the motor directly to the battery +.

Either way, you have to set the mode on the ESC...
