millinium charge
hi, i have a old version of a novak millinium and am wondering if it will charge an imtellepeak 3800 or even something over 3000 mah, because on the box it says 3000 nah ni-mh compatible, and all i have is sanyo 2400. never had any ni-mh. so will it charge more than 3000? when i bought it 4 years ago 3000s was all they had. will it charge more?
|
There is really no limit for charging mAh. Peak chargers just charge until the battery is as full as possible (as closest as it can get). It probably only says "3000 NiMH Compatible" because thats what was out then and it shows it can charge the latest NiMH batteries.
Should be fine charging 3300s. Not going to do any damage anyway. :) |
so it should charge the intellepeak 3800s to, right?
|
Yes, it will charge the 3800s just fine.
|
how are the new 3800s? i have heard they are awesome cells.

There was a rumor floating around the sanyo 2400 cells are the best for high voltage setups besides lipo? This true.
The 3800's are supposed to be killer, a few kinks in earlier production have been worked out for nice cells. |
i dont know...but my 2400s which are really old and crap (so i thought anyway) make my maxx run like never before. i dont get it.:C:
|
I've ran them for 3 years in my brushless xxx-t also, run like the day I got them still. Just resoldered them in side by side also.

2400's no longer give out the best voltage..newer NIMH cells feel noticabely more punchy than 2400's..its also hard to find matched packs these days.
2400's are a lot better than cheap nimh 3300, 3000 cells that you see everwhere for $15 a pack, but a good pack of 2400's also cost almost as much as GP3300's (or other good cells) so they're not really better value for money either. I have a novak Millenium (non pro) charging up a 7 cell GP3300 next to me..it'll work brilliant for all the new cells, including the 3800's. |
