Centre Diff Replacement and Gearing

hi all, well i have got my electric Thunder TIger EB4 S3 buggy running now!

but

its overgeared so over heats a lot, im running a ezilla/savage esc and motors, does anyone know what the stock gearing on those trucks are?

and

to be able to change the gearing more easily, i want to get rid of mod1 pitch that im using atm(go to 32 or 48dp), and have a slipper clutch.
so are there any slipper units that i could drop in on my setup and get rid of the centre diff(it leaks too :( )
does that make sense?

thanks in advance

gear ratio
16.75:1 with 5.4" tyres

that would probably mean dropping something like an e-maxx transmittion in ther or similar, doesn;t the e-zilla come with slipper clutch etc..
that would be your best bet

hi, im a little thick, my eb4 has tyres a little over 4" tyres so do i need to gear higher than the ratio you gave?

ya you can do.. with brushed motors they dont mind about the gearing being so accurate
ther is a gear calculator here somewhere http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/gearwizard.cfm

put in e-savage figures, then you can play around and try and match them
