20 cells on 9xl?

Could this be done? Hook 2 4200 7 cells and a venom 1800 6 cell. Is to much voltage? I would do this setup for fun!

The voltage would be muchos power! Not so effiecent though.

Use 20 of the same cells though, like all 4200s. Otherwise the 1800mah cells will run out first and performance would be sloppy, bad idea to mix cells.

You would cook that motor in no time, not to mention blow out every drivetrain part as soon as you hit the throttle.... crazy stupid wicked dumb fast...:036:

As well as the batteries, you MUST use the same brand, preferably make, and age/condition, capacity cells

It depends on your drivetrain. I run 6s Lipo on a 7XL just fine but I have the best drivetrain you can get - I can't imagine anything else being durable enough.

keep with the 14 cell

i've mixed batteries before and it just doesn't work well,, plus for some reason 3 batteries hooked up does act rather wierd, or it did for me :032:

as for the drivetrain on a stock maxx it wouldn't last 10 secs :027:
