brushless CRT .5 or e-Savage?
 

I am trying to decide between making a brushless crt.5 or an e-savage. I mostly just bash and I enjoy the building process and trying to make things ridiculously fast. I had a kyosho zx-5 4wd buggy with a mamba max in it but it proved to be a bit too fragile. So I have the mamba max 5700 system still so I could use it in the crt .5 or use the esc in the savage with a different motor. Which would you say for a mixture of off road and on road. I am guessing the e-savage is probably better for jumping, but the crt would be better on the pavement and for speed. Which would have a better resale value on ebay, I don't keep projects for that long. Any opinions would be great.

I would do the crt.5 cause the e-savage going to take more $ to make it brushless worthy. Just put some bigger tires maybe on the crt.5.

The cost of making the CRT.5 brushless will be much less since it doesn't need such a strong motor, beefy batts, or large ESC. And replacement parts are cheaper as well.

The e-savage will cause you troubles; it's not the strongest MT out there, the drivetrain is rather weak. The crt .5 on the other hand is tough as nails.

It costs less to convert and it's at least as much fun to drive.

Sounds like the crt.5 is the way to go. I have a really nice airtronics 94359 200oz servo, can I mod the servo tray to make it fit? Also can you balance the crt's weight side to side pretty well so they handle well?
