Locking in 2nd Gear
 

Would it be difficult to lock a "Forward Only" Nitro Revo transmission in 2nd gear in anticipation of making it an E-Revo?

Not really, just a small mod is all it takes. See the pic below:

All you need to do is:

1: Do the FOC
2: Remove first gear altogether
3: File three notches into the centrifugal clutch so they line up with the holes in the second gear
4: Remove the set screw, spring, ball bearing, and gray plastic plug from the clutch.
5: Screw three 4mm X 10mm screws as shown in the pic above.
