New Racer
Well my friend (polarisguy6490) and I got bored, so we decided to build a truck out of all the spare parts we had. We were surprized when we acully found out we had enough stuff to build a complete truck from sratch. Our goal was to make it very light. The chassis idea was taken from a guy that used to be on the traxxas forum. Well, we finally finished and i think it came out pretty good. all i had to borrow from my supermaxx was the motor and esc. its only 9 lbs 6 oz rtr with 40 series bowties. ill throw some komodos on and be under 9lbs. I think this truck may outperform my SM on our small tight track. here it is....

no front skid? also could you please get some better picks of how you did your chassis like that?
|
yeh, you seriously need a front skid. The steering bellcrank is just going to fall off, and if the chassis braces snag on something, it could make a nice mess :p
|
i found a front skid before i drove it. the truck ran awesome and im going to try racing it tomarrow.
