What do you call cheap? Mike is the first place I'd check, then maybe starluckrc.

What defines cheap? Mike at rc-monster.com sells them for about $15, last time I checked (today) they were all out at starluck r/c. The only other place (where I ordered mine) is www.finedesignrc.com They are like $11, but if thats all you are getting, shipping costs $10 and isnt worth it unless you absolutely need it. They are hard to find, especially in stock. Fine design is looked down on by members here, so don't go around promoting it. :027:

I ordered one from Kershaw Designs on the 17th but still have not received it yet!! ! got spoiled with Mike's great shipping. Does anyone have a phone number for K&D?

mkrusedc 08.28.2007 05:37 PM

Never mind they are out of the office until the end of August.

mkrusedc 08.28.2007 08:51 PM

Mike has been out. I sent him an email today request he try and get some.

mach1stang 08.28.2007 09:50 PM

yeah he has, i really need a 12 tooth but the car may work with a 14 tooth but i think it would be a little hot.

mkrusedc 08.28.2007 10:30 PM

The smallest Starluck RC has in a 16t

coolrunnings 08.28.2007 10:37 PM

fine design has a bunch of the 5mm 32 pitch gears cheap price too.

mkrusedc 08.28.2007 10:42 PM

The smallest they have is a 16t. I think that is going to be too hot for me.

Genius Serum, if you guys are running the 66 tooth emaxx gear you can go up to the 72 t maxx gear. Then run a larger pinion and have the same ratio. Or convert to mod 1 spurs and pinion chices are much better and the gears last longer.

You could also use a monster-gt spur (mod1) on the e-maxx slipper (using the traxxas or associated pegs)

mach1stang 08.29.2007 08:48 PM

ok what would you guys for a pede? it is the xl-5 and i dont want to run my 6L feigao to hot i planned to run 12/58 but mike only has a 14 tooth pinion would that run to hot in a 6 pound pede?
