1/8 scale 87' drag camaro
 

hello. i recently acuired a sweet 1/8 87 comaro rc. it is custom made with a revell 1/8 model kit but the running gear is a old rc10 electric buggy. it has a custom aluminum chassis, full interior, old kyosho aluminum rims and slicks. it is two wheel drive and was built to be a drag/show car. well its time for brushless like anything else. i have one problem though. the only motor i have is a brand new nemisis 540 xl and its just too much. what motor would you all suggest to run that would get the car to launch like a rocket? i need it to only need one battery due to space constraints. i will also be running a mamba max esc and a max amps 4400 battery(soon to be lipo). i will be interested in selling the motor i have. it is never even been pluged into a esc. also how strong are the old associated trannys and what would be a good alternative bulittproof transmission that i could swap in. pics are comming by the way. thanks

Great tranny, only alternative in my opinion is a B4/T4 stealth tranny. I say go mm5700 or 6900. 7700 doesn't have as much torque.
