my traxxas vxl fleet

here are a few pictrues of my traxxas vxl's:

in the pictures the rustler had a shock come loose and i could have put it back no except i was waiting for aluminum caps. and the bandit wass down with some issue. cant remember what it was. the stampede was brand new and hadnt been used. but when i did use it this is what happened:

broken castor block from taking a vicious side impact and run ove rform my brother in laws emaxx. his truck drove away with a busted bulkhead and lower arm. incredibly the pede was able to limp away. steerign was horrible but it was still able to move. and no you are not imaging things. i do own all 3 vxl's and have had some awesome moments with them.

My only question is why both a Rustler and Bandit? I understand having a 'Pede and Rusty or 'Pede and Bandit, but not a Bandit and Rustler - they are essentially the same vehicle with shorter arms and different wheels and tires.

Otherwise, looks like a great fleet of vehicles...

they may seem similar in looking at the basic design. but in relaity the bandit doesnt like to pick the nose up much at all. but when it comes to the rustler it will wheelie and hold it until you decide to let the nose drop back down or the truck flips. and also i missed having a bandit.

Looks like the brushless bug bit you HARD! Nice fleet, dude.

I can understand the bandit/rustler thing. I've got a RC10B4 and a RC10T4. Sometimes I want to bug, sometimes I want to truck. They handle different, and have different uses for me, depending on what kind of terrain I'm running on.

nice collection.

thank you. thign about the bandit is that it is mor eagile and a little quicker. but on rough areas is harder to keep unde rcontrol. the rustler no matter where you are handels about the same. it can wheeleie, jump, and pretty much in everythign outperfomr the bandit and the pede. but right now i have a drivetrain rubbing issue going on with the rustler. so until i get my mip cvd's and rpm rear arms the truck is down for repair.

Nice fleet of cars man!! Enjoy them.

86ragtopstang 08.30.2007 10:20 AM

oh i do enjoy them. try having a bandit fli pupside down and slide bout 30 feet on concrete. that is fun. or driving a stampede when the bottom part of a shock comes loose and you still drive it. i ended up bending a shock shaft.

So if you had to just buy one which one would it be? What time of batteries are you running in them and what type of runtimes are you getting out of them?

i am running pole position 4200 6 cells mostly, getting bou 20 minute run times unless something breaks, and my rustle ris my favorite.

_paralyzed_ 08.30.2007 08:01 PM

dude

if you are having fun on 6 cells try more voltage, you can run up to 10 cells (12 volts) or 3s lipo (11.1 volts) much much more fun!
