It's a Nissan 720 (hence my screen name).

I'll be out riding this weekend. Finally get a chance to test out my new pipe.

Is that going to be a turbo motor in the Nissan pickup truck?
Looks like a fun project. I have a built 92 GMC Typhoon that I have a lot of time into as well.

Wait a minute; where are the BL motor(s) or the batteries?!

BTW: How do you like those tires? I have the same ones (225/40R18) on my car and think they are horrible on wet pavement, but work ok on dry.

mach1stang 08.30.2007 11:10 AM

hey are you a member at atvriders.com? i think i have seen a quad just like it.

That's the plan... but looking at my budget right now and all my other projects I think I will get it running first then work the turbo parts.

I always wanter a Typhoon... but too much money.

BrianG - The tires have the best wear... i've tried Nitto's and Falkens (worst tires)... I also had some Proxxes before... but these T1S are the best by far... Nitto's had alittle better grip but wore to fast.

Mach1stang - Nope... I'm mostly on yfztech.com and I'm registered on yfzcentral but don't go there as often. My bike has the 720 number plates on the rear fenders.

Typhoons are awesome...My dad has a Syclone. Unfortunately he's gonna sell it. :/

Do you know of somebody that makes bigger turbos for them?

no mods 08.30.2007 05:21 PM

every turbo manufacturer out there.

nis720 08.30.2007 05:26 PM

I'm going to see if it's possible to install a stock STI turbo on my engine (the Flange is my main concern). I might get one free... my Bro-in-law is thinking of upgrading his and offered it to me when he does.

I had to tow his car to the shop..... fried computer.

Not so much really...It would definately need to be a bolt on since the truck is so rare (only 2,995 were made), and since the low production numbers, not many people make turbos for them. As I said, I know it would be possible to make alot of them work, but it has to be a bolt on to even consider.
