MM Mods
 

What happened to the people modding the MM? I saw one guy was going to sell modded one, but was having them tested by MIKE. I was just wondering what kind of mods you can do to it and are they pretty easy? I think it comes with 35v caps or something, can you just put some bigger ones on it?

GriffinRU was probably who you are thinking of.

IIRC, he was changing/adding to the main caps, doing something with the gate drive (?), and adding another parallel main FET power board for more current handling.

Unless you have very good soldering skills, I would stick to maybe adding a couple caps to the power leads, upgrading the power/motor wires, and maybe replacing the heatsink with something a little larger (or use a fan).
