steering and hi/lo issue

Well since I've been working on the custom truck I've been toying around with my stocker and it seems to be pulling right hard now since I rebuilt it.

Any idea why? I know the stock servo saver sucks compared to the UE and other versions so any why to adjust this?

Also I noticed when I try to engage low gear it won't engage so I have to return to high for it to run. How should this be corrected?

Check your steering trim on your remote. Then castor maybe?

Take the servo horn off and turn on electronics. Make sure the servo is center then re install servo saver.

Sounds like you servo isn't pushing the shifter in far enough.

recenter the servo horn

What's a castor?

So, to recenter unscrew the servo horn, turn on and then remount?

Correct,

Castor is the direction your tires point. If there straight don't worry about it.

Castor is the relation of the tires to the ground(relative to perpendicular). It has nothing to do with whether or not the car pulls. I would check the steering trim and also the stock servo and servo saver(likely that one of them has failed). The stock e-maxx is pretty sloppy in the steering department.

easiest way to understand caster is with a bicycle.
the front fork is angled forward at the bottom which causes positive caster. it is that caster that gives you the feeling that the front tires want to return to a straight direction after a turn.
spin the handle bars around 180 degrees and try to drive and you'll see what happens.

if the tire was a stick perpendicular to the ground positive caster would be moving the top of the stick back twords the driver.

camber is moving the top of the stick in twords the center of the car or out away from the car.
