Just found a funny
They have the shaft size wrong 2.3mm! Wonder how long that has been there!

Just goes to show you how much CC cares about the car market.
|
Looks like just a typo; 2.3mm instead of 3.2mm. They did say 1/8" as well though...
|
It's changed.

It's funny how they recommend a MM or a MMM for the motor. It must be VERY hard to run that motor on air. : )

lol, I probably wouldn't have cought it either, but was looking for more spelling errors. Yeah, they took the MMM page out of the products list, but you can still type the address manually to see the same page that's been there since the beginning of time.
So, it's a timing issue for the Nue/MM problem? I thought it had something to do with slotted motors. I would've thought that the high back EMF from the cored design that was causing the problem... |

I think CC is making a poor excuse with the timing issue. I'll be running the MM tomorrow with a Aveox 1412/1y and it is working fine. Just now I did a little full throttle just to see if would cog and nothing. My truck went straight on its lid. How come CC had to get so technical with things. All they had to do is have the timing function like all the other controllers out there. I guess they are paying right now for being so darn technical and different. GOOD JOB CASTLE CREATIONS. Man I hope Mike doesn't get angry at me for bashing on the great or should I say once great CASTLE CREATIONS. Let me stop and see if CC will come out with the Monster Maxx. Mike if I do get on your bad side for doing this, I'm sorry man, but CC should come here and give us all a good explanation of what is going on. BTW I'm also on Kontroniks case with the Power Jazz. They should not have put the Jazz on the name, since all my Jazz, Beat and Smile controllers have option for car mode. Regards. |
Patrick stepped in on rcgroup - problems with a twin mamba board design and back to the drawing board :(
At least they are monitoring the sites - Shame though that they didn't even email me to say thanks for pointing out the error! That would have taken 10 secs... |
I wonder how GriffinRU's MM is doing with the twin MM power boards? If Griffin made it work, why couldn't CC make it work as well?
