max esc

i am having some troubles with my new mamba max esc. it will stall and glitch and do anything kind of hard to describe and it only does it at certain times but you can tap on the speed controller and it will come back to life. i have tried to get ahold of CC but all i get is this secretary that tells me to hold and i waited today for almost 10 minutes and didnt here from anybody. just wondering if anybody has a similar problem.

thanks
kyle

Everyday it seems that CC is getting worst.

This is likely the motor leads - I get the same when they are not connecting properly. Remove one at a time and reconnect until you find which one isn't connecting properly.

Then crimp the connector slightly with pliers.

My buddy's does the same and it was brand new also, PLUS there was a bad connection on his switch and it ended up just turning off and random times. Who knows, I'm just glad it isn't mine :-D

Yeah... probably a bad switch. (is it rebooting or just coming back on instantly?)

If it stops and just cogs real bad then it's a motor wire.

When you call CC just press 1 and it will go straight to tech support. But you still may wait 10 minutes, LOL...

I don't have time to wait on the phone so I email tech support at CC and get an answer the next day. Hope that helps.

well got on the phone with cc today and told them what was wrong. and they said it was pretty common and to send it in since i allready checked the motor leads i thinks its internal and the fact that the motor is 3 days old tells me that it maybe a manufator defect anyway i asked them what there turnaround was and he told me about 3 weeks. i could not beleive this. i have never had something out that long for repairs. not sure if they are just saying that to cover there !@# or if it really takes that long either way it needs to be done.

Man 3 weeks is what most people would expect from an Over Sea company. I they are having trouble finding electronic components, I can definitely sell them my resources. They will be amazed by the prices they will receive.
