RC-Monster Forums - my first e-revo ideas

hey guys iv only been in the hobby for about a year now with my revo 3.3 and so far tuning my engine has been hell because i have no hobbie shop closer then 4 hours and i know noone thats has a nitro truck. so insted of giving up on the hobby im gona build a e-revo. so far i have bought all the parts other then the electronics and a cuple other things. i have been reading stuff in this forum for the past cuple of days and this is my build so far.

im gona us the stock chassy because im gona bash because theres no track yet (i havent built it yet).i have e-maxx tranny with the one speed convertion but i dont have the spur and pinion and sliper yet because im not sure whats the best one out there. i was thinking of using this stuff:http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...RK_125A&cat=21

now this will be my first electric othere then ones i got from radio shack when i was like 12 lol. so i will buy anything you guys tell me lol. i wanna keep this car under 3000$ total(and im not joking i have spent 1200$ on the chassy so far) i would like to hit 60mph just to say i did it and then im gona gear down for aroung 40 to 50 mph. i know it will be hard but i know its posible.

i read a post on her saying that lipo batteries arent good for bashing but i plan on shielding them from rocks and things. but will hard landings dmg the packs? like if they dont get hit by anything but the truck land upside down after a 30 foot jump can just the shock hurt them?

well thats all the questions i can think of right now so sorry for the long post and i hope i gave all the info thats needed.
