Battery-like device could power electric cars
I don't know what these are....but I want one.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/09/07/e....ap/index.html Anyone know any more information about this technology? Sounds like it could be the missing link for electric motors. |
That is the ESStor super-ultra-mega capacitor technology. :mdr:
They say it has higher energy density than Lithium, IIRC, and WHOW power! And you don't have to worry about over discharging them, or many other issues with batteries of any kind. I can't wait for these as well! |
Another link saying they have 2.5 times the capacity of Lithium batteries. I just WANT one of these.

2.5 times Lithium... wow, that's great!
I know of a company in Finland called Europositron, they have an 'aluminum' battery chemistry that has 10x Lithium density! They claim they will be dirt cheap too! $40 per 1kwh of storage! Cheap as chips boys! |
