Need a recommendation for a digital precision caliper.
Something I would like to add to my toolbox. I had thought about getting on in the past for the BL conversion, but I saw this article
http://rc411.com/pages/howto.php?howto=30&page=1 and now I am actively searching for a good one. I know nothing about what brands are the best and most accurate/reliable. Does anone have any experience with any particular brands and can they recommend one? My requirements would be - under $100, must be digital and handle inches/mm, must do inside, outside and depth measurements. |

I have that exact one and it works very well. Just don't forget to zero it out before each use. Also, don't forget to turn it off since it seems to eat through batteries fairly quickly.

Wow - $16 - that's great thanks!
I find it a little entertaining how they all seem to show resolution down to .0005" but are only accurate to .001" - great marketing for those who don't read thoroughly. Thx guys. |
it does not have to be expensive as long as it is made from quality steel so it does not flex. I have quite cheap one but its steel and works very well
