Video: 1/8 e-Buggy qualifier
Hey everyone, just thought I'd post a decent vid from one of my qualifiers today, It's my E-OFNA Ultra Worlds II, Quark 125B, Neu 1515 2.5D/F, and 4S Maxamps 5000mah packs. I finally got most of the bugs worked out, now I just need to learn how to drive. I finished 2nd in this qualifier, and had a little bad luck right at the end with some marshalls attending to other cars while mine sat for a while (not that you should ever blame the marshalls...). Enjoy, comment if you want. BTW, the three separate triples were not an easy thing for the nitros, the electric had no problem clearing them, its just landing tires down that was the hard part.

Looks like your shock fluid is too thick and you need to move alittle weight forward.
Great job on the video, the buggy looks great. |
looks good, much better then my driving.

That thing accelerates out of corners like nothing else. I agree with the adding weight to the front statement. The back end dropped way to much then it should off of the jumps. But great driving none-the-less besides for the couple small spills. Pretty technical track it looks to be as well.

Yeah, I think the shock oil and springs are both a little heavy, I was trying to keep it from bottoming out so much, with the extra weight of the e-conversion. But when I switched from 8000 to 5000 packs it helped a bunch, and I cut down on some other weight here and there. This car was basically to get my bearings with 8th scale, next year I plan to do a Losi or some other nicer car. (There was a brand new RC8 there today for its first run, and it got around great, it finished 2nd in the A main, only losing by a second)
